THE RE-IMAGINING OF SELF

"As a Woman of Colour, what does your freedom look like?
What do you look like free and without struggle?"

The Re-imagining of Self was a two day visual art, poetry and textile art workshop that created the space for women of colour between the ages of 18-35 to explore freedom as a daily practice. Following the two day workshop, I Shape Beauty displayed the work created by the participants at the Black Cultural Archives and facilitated a shorter session for women of colour of all ages.
